Omega 3

A vital nutrient your body can't produce on its own

Omega 3 fatty acids

Wild salmon is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids

Omega 3 fatty acids are the most important brain nutrients, both for cognitive performance and for a healthy mood. Detoxification and regeneration take place during the night, when the body's anti-inflammatory healing processes are at work. The evening dose of ResverAge® supplies the two most important fatty acids of the omega 3 family; eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These important nutrients occur naturally in ample quantities in Atlantic herring, wild salmon and algae, however the average amount of these fatty acids obtained from food is usually far below the amount recommended by scientists.

An imbalance between omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids is associated with an elevated risk for certain diseases.

Omega 3 – Chemical structure of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)

The physiologically active daily dose in ResverAge® is the amount recommended to keep inflammation-causing omega 6 fatty acids in check. EPA supports a healthy heartbeat, blood flow and blood pressure, and contributes to strengthening the immune system.

Scientific data has shown: omega 3 helps brighten the mood, and soothe anxiety and depression.  DHA is a constituent of the cell membrane, primarily in nerve cells, that accumulates particularly in the cerebral membrane and retina.
